Establishing a foundation

We always start with a deep dive into the building science that supports our designs & ideas.

We start with a capillary break where the footing meets the foundation. This prevents wicking of moisture up through the foundation wall. Drainage pipe is also added a the footing level.

Then we add in the exterior layering required to ensure a strong, waterproof, and sound foundation. Drainage all goes to the drainage pipe.
